HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS TREAT HOMOSEXUALS?

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR LIKE YOU LOVE YOURSELF. MATTHEW 22:40

We all sin against God! No one sin is greater than the next except if you sin and blasphemy against the Holy Spirt which is the greatest sin Matthew 12:30-32. Before Jesus choice you to follow him and you decided to change your life around, you were knee deep in sin. The difference between a Christian and a non-Christian's sin is that Christians repent and with the Holy Spirit turn away from sin. Also because you believe in Jesus Christ, when you die your sins are forgiven through his sacrifice. The non-Christian just die in sin with no forgiveness or redemption, WE ALL still sin a great deal.

A man has a wife and children at home. He decides he needs to get a break from his home life, he goes to the bar and a beautiful woman hits on him. He begins to blush and looks at her lustfully and say I am married. Did this man sin?

Matthew 5:27-28

"You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

A man who normally stays at home and watch television, was asked to hangout with a group of friends. He ended up going to a gay bar where he met a guy flirted with him and gave him his number. This man is just gay and having fun, did he sin?

Romans 1:24

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for degrading of their bodies with one another. Romans 1:27-28 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

Which sin is greater?

Both sins are equal, Christ spent time with tax collectors, prostitutes and other sinners to spread the good news. Jesus never hurt anyone and he never forced the scriptures on anyone. He went from place to place spreading the news about God, those who want it accepted it and were saved. Those who did not, he moved on to the next town and they were not saved. Jesus never sent anyone to Judge anyone else for their sin. Jesus said to spread the word not to use it to spread hate.

John 8:7

So when they continue asking him he lifted up himself, and said unto them. He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

You need to love all people and respect them where they are at. You do not share in their sinful behavior but when you love someone that can make them change their life around. You never know who you can turn to Christ by just being a good person and not forcing it on anyone.

This life is hard enough without having to point out other people sins. STOP JUDGING!

Romans 2:1-6

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things. Now we know that Gods judgement against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgement on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape Gods judgement? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgement will be revealed. God will repay each person according to what they have done.
