JESUS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

Jesus Christ is the son of God and he died on the cross for the sins of mankind. The bible does not contradict itself people do not understand it. Jesus is not only mentioned in the New testament, he is also mentioned in the Old testament several times. People wake up and don't lose your souls trying to please this world. Don't be naïve like the Pharisees and the Sadducees who killed Jesus because he spoke the truth. People translate the bible so much and there are so many Pastor, Preachers and Teachers that only take small parts of the bible and manipulate the meaning. I was taught a long time ago to not just read the passage presented to you, you should read before and after the passage presented to get the correct meaning. We are living in times where people are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

People wake up and don't be deceived Jesus is coming and he is very real. Pray and get into the word, if someone is Preaching the word and they are looking like they are trying to honor themselves and not God move away from them. The bible said about the Pharisees the blind will lead the blind and they both will go to hell. Let's pray for discernment and put on the full armor of GOD from the book of Ephesians. The bible is a continuum of the Lords favor and mercy on our life. People continue to disobey God and our hearts are full of wickedness, No matter how much we sacrifice it was not enough to change who we naturally are. So God sacrificed his only son so that we would be saved from damnation if we just go to him with faith and believing.

Places in the Old Testament that speaks of Jesus

Jesus in the old testament

Isiah 7:13-17

Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also? Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, for before the boy knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, the land of the two kings you dread will be laid waste. The Lord will bring on you and on your people and on the house of your father a time unlike any since Ephraim broke away from Judah—he will bring the king of Assyria.”

Isiah 9:6-7

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon4 his shoulder,

and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end,

on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it

with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore.

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

Psalm 2:11-12

Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Proverbs 30:3-4

I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knowledge of the Holy One.

Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists?

Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth?

What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know!
